MOUT Area

The Alpena CRTC MOUT Area features nine buildings that includes a one-story chapel with a bell tower, seven two-story buildings and one three-story building. It is complete with sidewalks and a sewer system.

Public tours C-130

During the Alpena CRTC Community Open House Event, the public is given a tour of a static C-130. MSgt Chris Keller explains the purposes and capabilities of the aircraft and how it is utilized in every day operations.

Alpena CRTC Fire Station

The Alpena CRTC Fire Station features over 22,000 square feet and six drive-through vehicle bays.

Aircraft Fire Simulator

The Alpena CRTC boasts a multitude of fire fighter training aids including our Aircraft Fire Training Simulator. The aircraft mock-up is used to train fire fighters in actual hands-on, live fire in aircraft emergencies. Using environmentally friendly Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) in a liquid and vapor state, fire fighters can practice extracting occupants from aircraft.

Keeping spirits high

Alpena Deployment
