F/A-18 On the Go
F/A-18 takes off from the Alpena CRTC. The Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 83, the "Rampagers" main goal while training in Alpena was to support Naval Special Warfare Group 2 Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) training as an airborne strike platform, and secondarily to train our aircrew to Close Air Support (CAS) scenarios with live and inert ordnance.(U.S Air Force photo by Crystal Seelye)
