Exercise Northern Strike
Soldiers from Bravo Company, 1-147 Aviation, Michigan National Guard support soldiers from Alpha Company, 125th Infantry Regiment, Michigan National Guard conduct an infiltration/exfiltration mission at Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center July 23, 2015, as part of Exercise Northern Strike 15. Northern Strike 15 will combine ground and air capabilities that will bring together aircraft from more than a dozen units and service members from 25 states and four coalition countries from July 23 to Aug. 1 on Camp Grayling, Alpena and in Rogers City. Northern Strike is the only exercise of this size and scope for the Michigan Guard and will integrate ground-based weapon systems like mortars and artillery with attack aircraft to support maneuver forces on the ground.
