Alpena CRTC Fire, Crash and Rescue Officers stand by as an F-18 carries out a barrier landing. This was routine training exercise for all departments. The barrier is engaged during emergency landings and this training ensures all equipment is working properly and the protocols that need to be carried out during an arrested landing.
