Operation Northern Strike 2014

U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Bradley E. Emmett II, a C-130 pilot with the 169th Airlift Squadron, uses the Real Time in Cockpit device aboard his C-130H3 Hercules while en route to the Peoria, Ill., Aug. 16, 2014. The RTIC enhances C-130 aircrews’ ability to communicate with ground crews and other aircraft during airlift and airdrop operations, according to the Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation. This new capability can increase situational awareness by providing aircrews a real-time tactical picture within their area of operations. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
