ALPENA, Mich.-- Soldiers of the 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Lithuanian Special Forces soldiers practice fast rope insertion and extraction system training at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center here on Aug. 7, 2018. The teams, flown by members of the 2nd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Regiment, A Company, Aurora, Colo., in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and the U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron, North Island, Calif. in a MH-60 Helicopter, trained together as part of Northern Strike 18, a National Guard Bureau-sponsored exercise uniting approximately 5,000 servicemembers from all branch of the U.S. Department of Defense and coalition partner services at multiple training sites in Northern Michigan.
